OEM vs Private Label Smoke Accessories

OEM and private label use different levels of customization. Selected ready-stock items may start from 50 pcs, but OEM/private-label MOQ is product- and project-specific.

Buyers often use OEM and private label as if they were the same. In smoke accessories, the difference is how much of the product and packing is already fixed. Choosing the wrong label leads to the wrong MOQ, sample plan, and artwork brief.

OEM

OEM usually means the product or process is built or adapted for the buyer: logo method, color, packing structure, or a development path from a reference. It needs a clearer brief and often a higher MOQ. See OEM / Private Label.

Private label

Private label usually means an agreed product is packed and marked as the buyer's brand. Logo, label, gift box, or display box may be enough. It is often faster when the base product already exists.

Custom logo and custom packaging

Custom logo can be printing, laser, or engraving depending on the item. Custom packaging can include gift boxes, display boxes, labels, and inserts. These can sit inside either OEM or private label. Browse custom packaging when the brief is box-led.

MOQ is not shared across every project type

For Gomba, selected ready-stock products may start from 50 pcs. That is not a universal OEM or private-label MOQ. Custom project MOQ depends on the product, logo process, packaging, quantity, and project requirements. Confirm the supported customization method for the exact item before approving artwork.

How to brief the supplier

Send product type, target quantity, destination market, logo file or reference, and whether you need a display box. Gomba's OEM flow is quote-driven: confirm artwork, sample if needed, then production. Start on Contact.

FAQ

Is private label cheaper than OEM?

Often, because the base product already exists. Full OEM packaging or new process work usually costs more and needs higher quantity. Ask for both paths if you are unsure.

Do I need a new mold for a logo?

Not always. Many accessories can take print, laser, or engraving. Molds or new structures are only discussed when the product itself must change.
